IDEA El Paso schools gather Shoe and Sock donations for migrants

EL PASO, Texas- IDEA Public Schools in El Paso partner with Junior League El Paso Inc. in hosting a "Shoe and Sock” drive for migrants.

All IDEA school campuses are joining to provide donations for migrants in need during this holiday season.

Students, staff and families on campus will collect new or gently used shoes and socks in the hopes of collecting 1,000 pairs.

Junior League will have a pickup day at IDEA Rio Vista on Thursday, December 15 at 9 a.m., before the students leave for the holiday break.

“Our mission is to always find ways to support our community and we want our students involved in that process,” said Yanira Aguilar, Regional Director of Operations of IDEA El Paso.
